For vendors

Everything you do as a vendor happens in the Vendor Centre: your shop, listings, calendar, bookings, messages and payments.

  1. 1. Apply to become a vendor

    • Sign up or sign in, then open handaan.shop/become-a-vendor.
    • Fill in your shop name, description and area, and upload a valid ID (and business permit if you have one).
    • Agree to the Vendor Agreement and submit. We review applications and notify you by email and in the app.
  2. 2. Open the Vendor Centre

    • After approval, tap Account (bottom bar on phones) → Go to Vendor Centre. On a computer, click your profile picture (top right) → Vendor Centre.
    • Or go straight to handaan.shop/vendor and bookmark it.
    • To go back to the customer side, tap Back to Handaan at the bottom of the menu.
  3. 3. Set up your shop

    • Vendor Centre → Shop: add your logo, cover photo, location and how far you deliver.
    • In the same page, add How customers pay you: your GCash, Maya or bank details and QR. You can't accept bookings until this is filled in.
    • Use Share your shop to copy your link or download your QR code for Facebook and your events.
  4. 4. Add your listings

    • Vendor Centre → Listings → Add listing. Choose a category, then add details, price and up to 8 photos and 2 videos.
    • Set your quantity (how many you can rent per day) and the minimum per booking.
    • Publish when it looks right. Your listing appears in search right away.
  5. 5. Keep your calendar current

    • Vendor Centre → Calendar shows booked days. Block days you're unavailable so nobody can book them.
  6. 6. Answer booking requests

    • You'll get a notification (bell and email) for each request. Open Vendor Centre → Bookings.
    • Accept or decline within 24 hours, or the request expires.
    • When you accept, pay the booking fee (10%, never more than ₱2,500) with QR Ph, GCash or Maya (your first 3 bookings are free if you're a founding vendor). The customer then sees your payment details and you both see each other's contact details.
  7. 7. Confirm customer payments

    • The customer pays the 30% deposit to your GCash/Maya/bank and uploads the receipt. You get a notification.
    • Check your account, then tap Received (or Not received with a reason). The balance works the same way, due 3 days before the event.
  8. 8. Deliver and finish

    • On the day, tap Mark as delivered (services: Mark service as done). For rentals, tap Mark as returned after pickup and return any security deposit.
    • The booking completes when the customer confirms, or automatically 48 hours later. Then the customer can leave a review.
  9. 9. If you must cancel

    • Cancelling a confirmed booking means refunding everything the customer paid within 3 days and marking the refund as sent. It also gives your shop a strike: 3 strikes in 90 days suspends the shop.

    • The vendor sends refunds to the account you paid from. Tap I received the refund when it arrives.
  6. 6. Plan your event

    • My events (bottom bar) gives you a free checklist with due dates, a budget tracker and tips for weddings, debuts, birthdays and more.

Frequently asked questions

I'm an approved vendor. Where is my dashboard?

Tap Account → Go to Vendor Centre, or open handaan.shop/vendor. On a computer it's also in the menu under your profile picture.

Does Handaan hold my money?

No. Customers pay vendors directly by GCash, Maya or bank. Vendors pay Handaan a 10% booking fee per confirmed booking, never more than ₱2,500 (the first 3 are free for founding vendors).

Isn't 10% a lot for big bookings?

That's why there's a cap: the booking fee is 10% of the booking but never more than ₱2,500, so even a big catering or venue booking costs you at most ₱2,500. And founding vendors get their first 3 bookings free.

Is there a fee for customers?

No. Customers pay only the vendor's price and delivery fee.

Why can't I see the vendor's phone number?

Contact details are shared once the vendor confirms the booking. This keeps payments safe and inside Handaan.

The vendor didn't show up or there's a problem. What do I do?

Open the booking and tap Report a problem. Our team reviews the booking, chat and payments and decides on a refund.

I didn't get the confirmation or reset email.

Check Spam and Promotions for an email from notifications@handaan.shop. Still nothing? Contact us.

How do I delete my account?

Account → Delete my account. You'll need to finish or cancel active bookings first.
